The Danmark is a steel-hulled, fully rigged 3 master. Originally constructed as a training vessel in 1933 at a Danish Shipyard called Nakskov, it has since then provided basic training for many young sailors.
The ship is the property of the Danish Kingdom and is generally set in port there. Though it maintains the capability to sail all over the world, it is generally only seen sailing in European waters. On very special occasions it crosses the Atlantic to visit the US, where the ship rested during the second World War and also provided training to American sailors.
