Details and ornamentation such as anchors are sculpted of brass and stainless steel. The meticulously painted cruise ship accurately represents the true colors of the real Liner. Incredible details including pipes, ladders, vents, and life boats cover the deck of the ship. Extensive research is required to build each model according to scale, using various pictures, original plans, drawings, and digital imaging. History

The RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 is a Cunard Line cruise liner named after its predecessor Queen Elizabeth. Standing as the flagship of the Cunard Line from 1969 through until recent year, the Queen Elizabeth 2 was succeeded by the RMD Queen Marry 2 in 2004. Considered as one of the final transatlantic ocean liners, the Queen Elizabeth, prior to reconstruction, was the last of the oil-fired passenger steamboats to cross the Atlantic Ocean. The Queen Elizabeth 2 took part in the Falklands War in1982, carrying three thousand troops and 650 volunteer crewmen to the south Atlantic. Refitted and prepared for war service in South Hampton, including the installation of three helicopter landing lands, the Queen Elizabeth 2 became a temporary warship. Returning to England that same year, the Queen Elizabeth 2 was reconverted to its original role as a passenger service ship.
